Hey Guys!! Today’s project uses the Carousel Birthday and Lift Me Up stamp sets along with the Up & Away Framelits dies. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these stamp sets together!! The Carousel Birthday stamp set is retiring and will be guaranteed available until May 22nd. After that, it will be available while supplies last. SO if you love this as much as I do, make sure to get it before it is gone forever!! The Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Framelits will be carrying over into the new catalog!! YAY!!
For the background on my card, I used Watercolor Paper, Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy inks. I just sponged the inks on, using a handmade template, then spritzed it with water and dabbed off the excess water with another sponge. A piece of paper towel would also work for this. I stamped on the tents in the background using a second generation ink. The clouds were inked and spritzed similar to the background, I then brushed on some Clear Wink of Stella to make them shimmer!! Gotta have my shimmer!! I hand cut the Ferris Wheel and popped it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals and used the dies in the Up Away Framelits to cut out the little This card was actually pretty simple, in theory, to make. Just a bit time consuming to cut everything out with the Big Shot.
