Today’s card uses the oldie but goodie stamp set Thoughts & Prayers. In asking what types of cards my customers need, I am finding more are asking for sympathy cards. Unfortunately, they are needed from time to time and it is so much nicer to have a handmade card on hand, rather than having to go to the store to purchase one. SO I thought I would try to include more sympathy cards to my local class and to my online videos.
The background was sponged using Soft Sky and Lemon Lime Twist inks, using just a round sponge that I cut into quarters. The tree was stamped in Night of Navy as well as the sentiment. The tiny sequins are from the new Iridescent Sequin Assortment. I was SO happy to see that SU! brought back sequins for us to play with!! YAY!! The Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven Ribbon added just the right amount of added texture and softened up the harsh lines of the card. To complete the look of the card, I used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. LOVE the added texture it gave to the Whisper White CS.
