Here it is!! Card #3 of the Carols of Christmas card set. I kept this one a bit more simple than the two previous cards. However, I added the new Oh My Stars embossing folder. The stars reminded me of snowflakes, so thought it would be a perfect background for this card! LOVE the dimension it adds to the Whisper White cardstock, which would have been flat and unassuming without the added texture. Don’t you just LOVE the Metallic-Ribbon??!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! It comes in both Silver AND Gold. The Gold is going on my next order for sure!
SO I have been REALLY talking up the Carols of Christmas stamp set. Again, I was NOT a fan of it when it first became available to demonstrators to purchase. However, playing with it, I have fallen in love! Did you notice that I didn’t use the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies with this card? WHAT?! You mean you don’t HAVE to have BOTH the Carols of Christmas AND the Card Front Builder Thinlits?? NOPE! This card is proof! LOL I did use the GORGEOUS DSP from Be Merry, which I didn’t love when I saw it in the catalog. I’m telling you, seeing it in person, makes all the difference in the world. Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Whisper White are the ONLY colors in this DSP pack. I added Basic Black cardstock as an accent, which to me, really frames in and sets off the other colors in the pack. Hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did creating it!

Hi Jen, I really love this card. I think you nailed it with the addition of black to set everything off. I hadn’t thought about how great that embossing folder would look for Christmas/winter cards, but you’ve definitely sold me on it! Thanks for showcasing it with this card. Awe! Thank you! Yes, the holly & berry background would look beautiful on this! I used Cherry Cobbler because that is what is in the Be Merry DSP and the cardstock pack that coordinates with it. (sorry it took so long to get back to you! I’m out of town for job training in Alaska and have been MUCH busier than I had anticipated! )
