Merry Cafe – Joy Fold Card

Basic Black CS – 4 1/4 x 8 1/4 (score landscape at 2 3/4), 3 x 8 (score landscape at 4″)

Real Red CS – 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 (two)

Whisper White CS – 2 5/8 x 3 5/8 (two), scrap for lid and sleeve

Merry Music DSP OR Merry Little Christmas DSP – 4 x 5 1/4, 2 1/2 x 4 (two, one each of two different papers), scrap for coffee cup

Hey Guys!!  Does this card look familiar??!!  LOL  I decided to bring back the Coffee Cafe joy fold card that I created when the Annual Catalog first came out.  I participated in a Holiday Catalog card swap with my upline’s team and my team and thought, instead of reinventing the wheel for my swap card, I would revisit the joy fold card again.  This time though, I used the NEW Merry Cafe stamp set that coordinates with the Coffee Cup Framelits.  My original swap card uses the Merry Music DSP.  BUT because I had to make 10 swap cards, I didn’t have enough paper left over for my card to demo on my video.  SO I ended up using the Merry Little Christmas DSP for this one.

A quick thought… Do you ever feel creatively stumped?  I know I do at times.  Especially when I procrastinate on a card swap and don’t have much time to come up with something!  LOL That is why I ended up recreating this card using different papers and stamp set, to be perfectly honest with you!  When you are feeling like your creative mojo has taken a vacation, try revisiting old cards that were your FAVS when you first made them, but use new papers, embellishments and stamp sets.  It’s actually fun to see how different the new card looks from the old card.  You may end up loving it even more than you did the first one!!
