Project Details
It’s FINALLY here!! Card #3 in the Quirky Critters Mini Series. I saved my FAVORITE for last. There is something about this card that just makes me happy!! I LOVE the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP with the bird. The colors just POP and bring everything together just perfectly. I used Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. Although the coloring looks a bit more difficult, it really isn’t. I promise! The alcohol markers really make it easy to blend and help add dimension to the bird. The embossing on the Basic Black CS using the Layered Leaves is subtle, yet completes the look. LOVE my embossing folders!

Absolutely adorable. I really do like this Quirky Critters Stamp set. I’ve got into cards with Critters recently. I particularly like this one Jen as the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP has the same coloured blends used to colour in the Critter. I think this one may not have worked as well with the Wood DSP paper, but I would have to see it to make a definite choice. I can’t wait to see what is next on your project list Jen. Thank you for your time in putting these together for us crafters, I really appreciate it. :O)
