OH MY GOODNESS!! I just LOVE the way these cards turned out! Such CUTENESS!! I’ve been going back and forth on ordering the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and Cookie Cutter Builder punch since I first joined a year ago. I know, I’m a bit slow sometimes when it comes to making decisions! LOL SO I finally broke down and purchased the set a couple of weeks ago. WHY OH WHY did I wait SO long to buy this set?? I’m having a BLAST playing with it!
I used the Softly Falling embossing folder on the stitched circle to give it some dimension and texture. The Mini Tinsel Trim is so much fun to play with and I think it is perfect for the hanging ornament look I was going for. It is only available through the end of December, if it doesn’t sell out before then. I added Stampin’ Glitter to my Santa, but decided to leave it off the other images. I used Stampin’ Blends for all of my coloring. Again, I didn’t do any fancy shading or blending on these cards. Just plain coloring. If you haven’t used alcohol markers, I highly encourage you to give them a try. I promise, you won’t go back to using anything else. The color just glides onto the image. You don’t have to apply much pressure at all to color with them as the ink just flows out onto your paper.
