SO I have decided to not only add in more 3D items to my projects, but to also go outside of my comfort zone and start looking for more interactive cards to incorporate in my videos and blog posts. Is this a New Years resolution?! Well, maybe! LOL Whatever it is, I am having a lot of fun stepping outside of the box and creating things I normally would look at and say “That’s awesome!”, but not going to happen cuz it looks like a LOT of work!
I found a similar card to this on Pinterest. BUT I changed it up quite a bit and am pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I am in LOVE with the Flying Home stamp set!! It is SO SO SO much fun to color using our Stampin’ Blends!! I could get lost ALL day in stamping out the images and coloring them. The colors I used are listed out in the supply list at the bottom of this post. I also used the Barn Door stamp set for the sentiments. Thought they went perfect with this image. As I thought, I really like the new Whisper White Organza Ribbon! Be prepared to see me using this quite a bit over the next 5 months! LOL Adding the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and a touch of Clear Wink of Stella really put the finishing touches on this card.
