Part 2 of my Magical Day Mini Series features the mermaid and seahorse.  Aren’t they just the sweetest things ever?  That seahorse is SO tiny, but stinking cute!  I LOVE that Stampin’ Up! made the Magical Mates Framelits to go with the Magical Day stamp set.  You can buy the set as a bundle and save 10%, or purchase them individually if you don’t have a die cutting machine.  Either way, the images in this set are stinking adorable!  To color in the mermaid, I used Light & Dark Pool Party, Light & Dark Daffodil Delight, Ivory, Dark Pink Pirouette (for her cheeks), and Light Night of Navy (to give her 80’s eye shadow lol) Stampin’ Blends.  The Celebrate and You are dies that come in the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies that are FREE with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration.  I debated on the dies when I first saw them, but am SO happy I went ahead and got them.  LOVE them!  To finish the look of the card, I used the Seaside Embossing folder and brushed on some Clear Wink of Stella over the whole mermaid and seahorse.  SO sparkly!  Love me some sparkle!  Tee hee!
