Do you remember the movie The Last Unicorn that came out in the early 80’s? Well, that movie was and still is one of my all time favorite movies. When I first saw this sweet unicorn in the Magical Days Bundle, the first thing that came to mind was the movie and I knew I was going to need to buy this set! I’ve always loved magic and mythical things. I’ve read all the Harry Potter books AND watched the Harry potter movies more times than I can count! lol There’s just something about dragons, mermaids, sorcerers and knights that draw me to them.
ANYHOO… I felt like the unicorn needed to be colored in using the Light Pink Pirouette for her body and the Light & Dark Rich Razzleberry for her mane and tail. The sentiment was masked to stamp One of a Kind onto the banner, which I used Fresh Fig to stamp in and a Fresh Fig Stampin’ Write Marker to run along the edge of the banner to give a separation between the banner and the card front. I stamped the sentiment again, cutting only the You Are out and put it just above the unicorn. Layering Squares Framelits were used for the Basic Black scalloped square and Whisper White background that the unicorn is on. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits with the Myths & Magic Specialty DSP as the layer between. To complete the card, I used the Sparkle Embossing Folder and brushed Clear Wink of Stella on the unicorn.

I haven’t opened my stamp set and dies, I am waiting until you have finished the mini series and then I will CASE the cards you have done and those in the SU Occasions catalogue too which wu]ill then inspire me to create my own designs too. :o)
Open that set up! All four cards are done! Sometimes all we need is a bit of inspiration from others to help get our creative juices going to create our own.
