Details

As I was playing around with the MFT sketch #366, I decided to pull out and use the Coffee Break DSP and the sweet Pieces & Patterns stamp set. To be honest, with all the new products from the Holiday catalog and now the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs, I have totally neglected the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog products. They are just as cute as they were when I purchased them last year, they are just not new and shiny anymore. Why do we as crafter do this? Why do we have to have the newest and greatest thing that pops up, when we have AMAZING stuff we haven’t even taken out of the package yet?! LOL I don’t have the answer to that. Only that I am going to make a conscious effort to revisit my “old” favorites and bring life back into them. How bout you? You in?

Like always, this card is pretty simple yet sweet. I colored the bear using Ivory, Light & Dark Crumb Cake and Bronze Stampin’ Blends. I used Ivory first, then Crumb Cake directly on top to give it a darker brown tone. After I colored him with the two colors, I went over his belly with Bronze. I couldn’t resist brushing on some Clear Wink of Stella, well just because I like it! LOL I used Linen Thread to wrap around the banners, then tied a bow and adhered it with a glue dot. Finishing it off with some Glitter Epoxy Shapes which are quickly becoming a new fav way to embellish my cards and projects!
