SO I’ve decided to include the sketch that I followed in my post… just in case you all wanted to give it a try too! LOL One of the MANY things I love about following a card sketch is that it’s only a starting point. You don’t have to follow it exactly. Although, if I’m honest, I do tend to follow them pretty darn close. However, while this card is similar, is not exactly the same as the sketch. For one, I didn’t have a die that size or shape. SO I used the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I love the added texture the stitching gave my squares. And two, once I had all my squares laid out on the card, I felt using a small banner for the sentiment got lost in all the busyness and brightness of the Tutti-Frutti DSP on the card. What could I use for a sentiment that would stand out? The new Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, of course!! I used Basic Black CS for the words, then heat embossed with two layers of Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder. LOVE the way the sentiment pops when embossed! To complete the card, I add a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment. I don’t know about you all, but just looking at this card makes me happy!! Can you imagine what the recipient is going to feel when they open it up? Hopefully it will make them just as happy to receive as it made me to create!

Jen, could you post a link to the site you found the sketches please? I can find the individual sketches on MFT, but not the pdf download with several of them on. I love these bright colors you are using.
